We are pleased to announce that Miguel Cansado has joined our team as Business Development Director 🤝
Miguel Cansado is an experienced BD and program management professional, with high business acumen, assertiveness, resilience, leadership and empathy, and a drive for delivering programs and value-added outcomes and benefits to customers and partners.
He is a MSc in Applied Chemistry – Biotechnology from Nova FCT Lisboa (during which he spent one year in the Netherlands),and completed post-graduations in marketing management and project management from Católica Lisbon SBE. Miguel is a certified PMP® (Project Management Professional®) and was a Member of the Board at PMI Portugal for 5 years.
In his 25+ years career in Pharma / Biotech / CDMO, he delivered > 10 new medicines to the market and > 70 to clinical stages, in the roles of QC analytical chemist, senior project manager and PMO director, working with clients and partners from Europe, USA and Asia (Japan, Korea).
During his career, he worked in Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland and Switzerland.
Miguel is enthusiastically looking forward to strengthening the business development at Stepscience and to a strong contribution towards a sustainable growth, delivering value and benefits to clients and partners.
