Meet Leonardo,
Leonardo Trevisan Secretti was born in Rio Grande do Sul, the most southern state of Brazil. He is a pharmacist, with graduation from University Federal de Santa Maria – UFSM, and he holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS. He has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 2011, both in Brazilian and multinational companies, mainly in physiochemical/analytical development and QC areas. Besides the experience in the industry, he has worked in the Brazilian Pharmacopeia. Leonardo has recently joined our team as CQV Engineer.
After arriving in Portugal one year ago, and passing that year working in other fields, Leonardo has found in Stepscience a “place to develop myself jobwise in Portugal. I choose Stepscience because it is a fast growing, broad-minded, challenging company. His first impression of the company was very positive as he really liked the warming welcome. “The professional yet light mood in the office was a plus, as well.” At Stepscience Leonardo found respect, professionalism, good training, and good interpersonal relationships, all the things he values most at work.
On his free time Leonardo enjoys reading, watching movies, and camping. In a day off he would lay down on the grass, in a park, reading. He also enjoys going to the bar, to drink beer and chat with friends. Finally, at home he would spend time watching a movie.
Leonardo considers that his greatest strengths are adaptability, optimism, and the courage to explore life and its possibilities.
In the near future, he wants to continue developing himself in the PQS field, as well as meet new and inspiring people.
Leonardo considers that in the future Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries will keep being “essential and even more challenging and demanding on achieving therapeutic effectiveness and safety of medicines.
