Cláudia is from Barreiro, and has a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, being a member of the Portuguese order of engineers. Whilst doing her masters, Cláudia developed a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical technology, process engineering, and analytical process technology.
Through her six years as a professional, Cláudia has worked in Quality Assurance in a Pharmaceutical company that specializes in injectables. There, she gained solid experience in GMP environments, quality assurance systems, aseptic processes, data integrity, GMP, and compliance within regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Following a desire to have a new professional challenge, Cláudia decided to take on a challenge and join our team at Stepscience. Especially for the variety of projects and the possibility to grow and learn even further. Currently, she’s working on projects of qualification of equipment and facilities for the pharmaceutical industry.
Her first impression of Stepscience was very positive. Cláudia noticed a positive work environment, a strong sense of teamwork, and mutual support among the team. She also highlights Stepscience’s flexibility, respect for work-life balance, and the care for the employee’s well-being.
For Cláudia, remote work, flexible working hours, opportunities for professional growth, and a concern for employee’ welfare and their work-life balance, are all very important concerns for her.
Cláudia has a deep passion for travelling, having visited more than twenty countries in the last five years. Also, she enjoys spending time with her three cats, staying home relaxing, watching a good series – her favorite type is crime and suspense shows -, or simply being online consuming travelling content, keeping up with current affairs, or reading on new information related to her profession. A typical day off for her will either be at home with her cats, or at the beach ending with a good restaurant.
Cláudia is a very organized, detail-oriented, hardworking, determined, and ambitious person, both at work and at home. As such, she is a rigorous person who sets many goals for her life, being determined to achieve them all. The worst thing that could happen to her is not feeling satisfied with her life.
For now, Cláudia wishes to continue growing as a CQV Engineer, deepening her knowledge in Qualification and Validation, successfully contributing to Stepscience’s projects, while continuing to embrace new challenges.
Cláudia sees the future of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences as very promising. Driven by innovation and technological advancements. Believing these developments will lead to better treatments, more efficient processes, and improved patient outcomes worldwide.
