Meet Caio,
Caio Sander Paiva Silva was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil and he has just arrived in Portugal to join Stepscience team. His first visit to Portugal happened 7 years ago, while he was an exchange student in Spain, and he really enjoyed the country. He is graduated in Biochemistry Pharmacy, by UNESP, and he has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 5 years, first in cleaning and process validation and after in CSV.
Caio has found everyone in the team “very attentive and helpful about my changing situation from another country. I have a feeling that Stepscience is a good place to work in.”
Outside work, Caio enjoys doing fit dance. He started during the pandemic, so he “could try to keep in shape and have some fun.” He also enjoys walking while listening to his favorite playlist. And after a long walk he would end with coffee and candies. As he is new in the country, he wants to have new experiences, try new food, meet new people, and have fun. He considers himself a fast learner and he likes to share his knowledge with others. He also likes to “to put things in order, so that the environment gets more logical and practical.”
In the short term, Caio wants to gain as much experience as possible in work and to grow in his career. He considers that “the pharmaceutical and life science industries have a promising future considering that they are one sector that grows fast, with more products and more quality requirements.”
