Meet Rodrigo,
Rodrigo Esteves de Oliveira was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has a degree in Industrial Chemistry and 10 years of work experience. He has worked in multinational companies in the pharmaceutical segment like TEVA and GSK.
Rodrigo decided to join Stepscience team as he identified himself with the aim of reaching excellence in every project. His first impression is that Stepscience’s team is made up of extremely qualified people. Not only technical qualifications impressed him, but also the soft skills of the team. The team is very united and for Rodrigo that is an important quality as he considers that his greatest strength is to unite and motivate the people he works with. “I am always searching for a good solution for booth-involved parts of a project or matter.” Rodrigo also values proactivity and passion to make things happen. For that, adaptability and creativity are important to come up with unique solutions, always standing on integrity and pursuing quality.
On his free time, Rodrigo likes to cook for the people he loves. He practices martial arts, and he likes to hear music and discover new places. Recently arrived in Portugal, he is taking time to meet the family members who live here, eating good food, drinking, and enjoying the small things in life.
Rodrigo understands that the future of Pharmaceutical Industry is to produce better and more specific drugs. In addition, the development of Continuous Manufacturing and Process Analytical Technology will allow to produce on a bigger scale than nowadays. He considers that the recent rising of the Cannabis Industry will shake off the life science industry as the Cannabis market will grow up. “Currently, society is suffering from anxiety derived issues that gets the life quality of people worst. Cannabis is an excellent and healthy way to mitigate that issue who plagues modern society.”
